Toronto Insider Guide License: When you purchase the Toronto Insider Guide, you receive a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the guide for your own personal use only. You may NOT:

Use the guide for commercial purposes without written permission
Purchases and Payments

Price: $20 USD (or as displayed at time of purchase)

Payment: Processed securely through third-party payment processors

Delivery: Instant digital download via email after payment confirmation

All sales are final (see Refund Policy for exceptions)
Tour Experiences:

Pricing varies based on experience type, group size, and customization

Deposits may be required for tour bookings

Payment Methods: We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and other payment methods as indicated at checkout.
Tour Bookings and Reservations
Booking Process:

Confirm booking with deposit or full payment

Client Responsibilities:

Arrive on time at designated meeting point

Provide accurate group size and dietary/accessibility requirements

Behave respectfully toward guides, venue staff, and other participants

Follow local laws and venue rules
-
Notify us immediately of any changes or issues
Our Responsibilities:

Provide experienced, knowledgeable guides

Handle all reservations and logistics
-
Ensure VIP access and service where promised
-
Maintain safety and professionalism
-
Deliver experiences as described in itinerary
Cancellation and Refund Policy

Toronto Insider Guide:

Digital products are non-refundable after download
-
Refunds may be issued if technical issues prevent access (within 7 days of purchase)
Tour Experiences:

Cancellations more than 14 days before tour: Full refund minus 10% processing fee

Cancellations 7-14 days before tour: 50% refund
-
Cancellations less than 7 days before tour: No refund
-
Weather or force majeure: Rescheduling offered or full refund
Liability and Disclaimers
Use at Your Own Risk: Participation in tours and use of recommendations in the Toronto Insider Guide is at your own risk. Toronto DeTour is not liable for:

Personal injury or property damage during tours

Food allergies, illness, or dietary issues (unless we were specifically notified and failed to accommodate)

Loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings

Experiences at third-party venues
-
Travel delays, cancellations, or related expenses

Accuracy of third-party information (venue hours, prices, etc.)
No Warranties: Services and content are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee:

Uninterrupted or error-free service

Accuracy or completeness of information

Specific outcomes or experiences
-
Availability of venues (businesses may close or change without notice)
Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, Toronto DeTour's total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or use of our services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service or product.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Toronto DeTour, its owners, employees, and partners from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

Your use of our services

Your violation of these Terms

Your violation of any third-party rights

Your conduct during tours
Age Restrictions
Alcohol-Related Experiences: Participants must be 19+ years old (legal drinking age in Ontario) for tours including bars, nightlife, or alcohol consumption. ID verification may be required.
General Tours: Minors under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
Age Restrictions
We are not liable for failure to perform our obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including:

Natural disasters, severe weather

Pandemics, public health emergencies

War, terrorism, civil unrest

Government orders or restrictions
-
Labor strikes

Venue closures or unavailability
In such cases, we will offer rescheduling or refunds as appropriate.
Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the website. Your continued use of services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
Significant changes will be communicated via email or website notice.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Toronto, Ontario.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
